Now ordinarily I'd say that the braid was trend enough, and that she should avoid doing anything fancy with the makeup on top of that, but Jazmine's lipstick choice here is just perfect--bold, but not too distracting, like a matte true-red or a would have been. I think anyone sings on a culture riddim Jamaican beat is automoatically compared to Lauryn Hill in the states. Nevertheless, Jazmine and Beyonce's versions were both very good; but, Jazmine made it more soul-stirring because her voice just automatically is able to take a song to that point. I've been on jazmine for a minute, all ya'll lames should catch up to me and the person i quoted. I think there was a real connection between hip hop and raggae but i never knew that jamaicans brought it to America but hey, we learn things every day! It makes the braid look chic rather than cute.
